Great Feel

I demoed the CB 7i and MB 8i because I was considering doing a combo set. Both have amazing feel, and the CB was more forgiving than I thought it would be. They are standard lofts which makes the 7i only 1 degree stronger than my current players distance irons. That said, I was only a few yards shorter than my current 7i and my ball speed was a lot more consistent, no unexpected flyers. I did learn that I am not a good enough ball striker (yet) for the MBs.

The only thing I didn't like were the stock shafts. The kick point doesn't work for me, they launch the ball to high. I haven't been able to find the specs on the those shaft, but they are a light weight steel so the ball flight is what I would expect. Based on that, I would probably look at either the C-Taper or $-Tapers.

These are at the top of my list for my next set of irons.
